I also cut the bypass tube on the side to insert the temp coil on the side of it so the CCU sees the correct temperate.

I messed around with both these recommendations and tested both on Saturday. I think and don't quote me on this but once you do the relay bypass you don't want to cover the cowl vent. Covering the cowl increased flow before the relay bypass but decreased it after.

I also have the carbon fiber fabspeed heater by pass. I walked down to the garage and jumpered out the relay as mentioned. The blowers work at all speed settings now
Thanks for the tip.

There is a section in Streather's 993 Companion book: Additional Engine Cooling. What most people refer to as a heater duct is more accurately called a cooling duct.

Myth busted. As soon as the car was at operating temp, the heat was pumping out nicely. You don't get the rush of air from the rear heater blower. But the car warmed up so much in about 10 minutes, I had to turn the heat off.

So, if you never drive your car in below freezing temps, don't be afraid to lose the 15 lbs of blower lump in the back....
+1

When I still had my RS heater tube, couple of times I had to use it, it definitely worked. That's why I didn't sell it when I too it off.

No I don't have even the tube anymore so no more heat (needed it once this year...) but A/C is not effected by RS tube or no tube at all, it's a different blower altogether.
