Default Rennline floorboards

Has anyone installed these? The factory plywood behind the pedals is less than finished looking. http://www.rennline.com/Rennline-Alu...oductinfo/F05/

I have one for the driver's side, too. Looks great, excellent fit.

Do they just bolt to the existing bolts that hold the plywood in place? I don't have it yet so can't match up the fastening points. Looks great!

I have driver's side in my 911. Yes, they pick up the stock mounts.

Takes all of five minutes to install. No drilling involved, IIRC. (The track mat required some easy drilling.)

Oliver, mine does not. When I got new Lloyd mats 2 years ago (not in my photo) I took the driver's side mat to an auto interiors shop and had the mat trimmed and re-sewn. Then, I use 2-sided tape, and attach the leading edge of the floor mat onto the track-mat. The back edge of the mat (near the seat) is attached with the plastic cap from Lloyd into the post in the floor that comes through the grommet hole. The left forward edge of the mat tucks nicely under the dead-pedal.

Don't know. Thomas did this to my Turbo prior to my purchase.

For those interested parties, Rennline has a black friday discount of 10% on everything they sell. I've utilized multiple products in multiple cars and the quality is excellent!

Why would you care if there is any weight savings from the minimal difference that an aluminum floorboard would hypothetically provide over a wooden floorboard?

Does anyone have the track mats - full race in their car?
http://www.rennline.com/Track-Mat-Dr...ctinfo/TM05FR/

I'm interested in how its holding up. The driver's side floorboard is uneven at numerous spots, wonder if the mat would bend if you step in the wrong place. Only one of those square levelers are supplied.
