Default ...so the wife says to me...

Last night, as we were coming home from dinner in the 993, my wife says (with the sound of the iPod and the sound of the motor humming as we went up a nice hilly/curvy road home): "I took this car out the other day and I turned off the iPod so I could just listen to the motor. It was great."

Exactly what I was thinking.

That, and now would be a good time to replace her d/d with another 99three.

Actually, she says she'd be driving a Boxster if it wasn't for the pesky kids. At least for now the two kids fit in the 993 with me (or her), but not the four of us. But once they're gone....

There's plenty of room for kids if you get creative.

Take it on a 1650 mi. trip and I think you'll be turning on the radio, the CD portion at least.

You got a good woman there! Mine's the same way. We drove all the way to and from RENNSPORT III in the '95 without turning on the radio once. Side story: Before getting the '95 a little over 3 years ago, I hadn't had a P-Car since '72. Been into BMW's all that time. Went to FLA to p/u the '95 and drove back non-stop. Got home about 8p.m., hit the remote, raised the garage door and rolled in to see my wife running down the stairs. "Man, it sounds GREAT...every window in the house is shakin'!" She sits in the car and says "Boy, it looks so "cockpitty" in here!" She ordered a brand-new MINI Cooper S a few years ago and, after getting it home, I asked her how she liked it. "Fine, but it's too quiet." She put a MAGNAFLOW on it and now I can hear her coming two blocks away!

My wife said after autocross, "I don't want to run the C2 very hard, why don't we get a dedicated track car with a trailer."
I need to renew my vows!!
