Default Finally... my own SSK - The Black Series :)

We have been so busy making SSKs and RS-Style shift rods for others my own car was neglected and left with inferior parts. Sad, I know.

I finally had some time to do my own SSK and I thought I'd do something a bit different. I am calling it the SSK - Black Series (yes, I know... BS ) and the SSK Shift Rod. Totally unnecessary and almost pointless.
Though the car is black... so... it sorta had to be done. Right?

Pretty cool though no one will ever see it

Mark - Looks stealth. I think you can charge more for these? ... sort of like the Amex annual fee schedule for the green, gold, platinum and finally the (Centurion) black cards.

I know how you feel. I was a cobbler for years and my kids didn’t have any shoes.

Mark, I like it. What is the coating? It looks like a powdercoat?

Very nice.

I dub it, "The SR-71 Shift Rod".

Exactly... unfortunately the cost of the powdercoating isn't really worth it. Still fun though.

Funny, Darin and I use that analogy frequently when it comes to our own cars and their "needs".

Yes, good eye, Bob. We did it in the same matte black finish that we used on the MY02s on Marks cab.

Do you have a SSK for the C4S yet? If not, is it underdevelopment?
