Default SF Bay Area - New Years Morning Drive

It looks like the folks on the Pelican Parts forum are organizing an early morning new years day drive. meeting around 7:30am at 92 and Canada Rd.

If the weather is good and I am awake, I am thinking of joining in!

Sounds good. As long as the RSA gets halfway cleaned up by now and then. (Amazing how dirty a car can get on a wet track day.)

If I'm not out on my mountain bike, I'll come - as long as you allow a Mercedes in the midst.

I'm not really sure. There is more info on the link I posted above. I wasn't really paying much attention...just figured I would be one of the sheep, aimlessly following the herd.....just enjoying the drive.

Darin,

I want to hook up with you at the drive. I have been thinking about modifying my mufflers. By-passes too loud and stock too quiet. I want some noise but no resonance. Not sure which stage of your mods would suit my needs the best.

Regards,
Hal

Hal,
Since your car is a tt, you would have to go with my tt modification. Stage II and III refer to NA cars. TTs are a different beast. If I can get MarkD to come along, you can hear his car. He is running our 200 cell sport cats and my tt mufflers. Hopefully he will make it.

If my P-car is not ready by then, can a V-dub come along? (Well, you know, VW owns Porsche now......)
