Fister Stage IIIs
Hi all,
I'm considering Fister stage III mufflers for my C2. I've heard them in person and they are spectacular.
Question for those who have gone this route. Is the Ceramic coating worth it? I understand that radiant heat is cut down, but is that enough of a benefit?
thanks!
Jim

Darin twisted my arm into the coating (conversation was; me "should I" him "Yeah" me "OK").
Couldn't be happier that I listened to him. They look great, seem durable, and run cooler. It is worth the money.
Enjoy the III's!

Just making sure... mine was removed the first month of ownership 4 years ago. I'm excited about the stage IIIs. I haven't pulled the trigger yet but may make them an xmas gift to myself - if I can sneak the purchase by management

I am east of the Arch about 30 minutes in the village of Albers IL, population 600 we have a 4 way stop sign, no traffic lights. I work closer to STL but will be happy to drive just about anywhere there is another 993.

They are awesome. Went with the black. Looked like works of art when they came out of the box.

For me, it made a world of difference! I could not be more happy with it. Best money I could have spent on a mod. I still have barely turned on the radio.
When's the next run after the NYE run that I unfortunately can't make?

New owner here...I was going to do Robin Sun's RS muffler conversion. But here, everyone loves the Fister. Is it loud? Reasonable? or Very tame? (I know it's subjective but ballpark would be great).

That's because Fister is the "Muffler King". All kidding aside, Darin does great work with these mufflers and most folks here are going with either the Stage IIs or IIIs. IIs are "reasonable" and IIIs are aggressive. Neither are boomy, and both would give you some bark and burbles (again IIIs > IIs), but in no way are they "tame". Check out fdmotorsports.net for some sound clips. You can also PM FisterD to see if he can put you in touch with someone with his mufflers near you to hear them in person.
