Gappy - it's your time...
Following closely on the heels of this thread, as well as this one, I've completed and shipped another one-off clock for our very own Gappy (tjangi).
Similar in construction to the one I created for Matt, I once again used a special block of Indonesian Amboyna wood, which I then cut and finished into a 5" x 5" square. This amazing wood allows for a very smooth finish and feels as if it has the structural integrity of ductile iron. Cutting it can be a challenge...
In addition, this clock features an illuminated dial which can be switched on via a second pushbutton on the rear.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this build and look forward to completing the four others patiently sitting in queue.
