I don't recall seeing your new car here on the forum. Please take this opportunity to show off that beauty!

Bob,
Glad to oblige. Have only been here a month with my new toy and I have already learned a ton of good stuff. Here is the new addition. You guys are great!

She is a 1998 Carrera S, with ~45K miles, well optioned (sport seats, 18 inch turbo twists, rear wiper, big reds, motor sound option, aluminium trim on shifter and brake ...).

Now my list of needs includes PSS10s... and counting! I am looking forward to lots of DIYs.

Alex,

I love the look of your car! We all give each other crap but the bottom line is there is a GREAT group of guys/gals here from all different walks of life. Most are willing to lend a hand via the internet or in person. It is great that I have "Friends" in other parts of the world that I have never met. Get ready because the slope gets real slippery. This "slope" can be greased rapidly depending on who your "Friends" are !

yeah, next time you may not want to take the tail off @ all. i did my spoiler wall in about 8mins.
other 'diy-ers' see notes after initial post on robin's p-car site.
simply slide old broken one off (in two pieces) & slide new one on; keeping the spoiler just short of being fully extended.
i laugh when i think of what i actually paid the stealer (who charged me their rate plus inflated part price) 1st time around... & yes!!! a 2 out of 10 on the difficult scale fo' snizzle.

btw: nice & very caaaalean boulderbobo!

Sounds like assembly is quick & easy. What about removal of the old one? Any pics available for this partially-sight-impaired 993 newbie?
