I'm in Kingston and hope to follow in your footsteps in the spring. I understand the dollar will be at parity soon.

Hi

That is incredible. 19k USD? I wanted to move to the US before but even more so now! Mine is a 185k mile car and goes great. It will go even better once the suspension refurb has been done. My engine bay looks nothing like yours! Yours looks new in comparison.

Best of luck....

I sold an identical car in Ontario in the spring. It had 84,000km on it but sold for a multiple of your price. Buying in the US is the way to go and I've purchased 2 P cars there since 2007. The GR 993 had to go to make room for the TT. However, I still miss the 993. It's very different from the TT especially with respect to handling. I don't think 128k miles will be an issue. These things are incredibly strong if they're looked after. Love the colour. All sports cars should be red.

Receiver - I have a new TT cab coming in March - this unit will be for the track. You are right - the prices here in Canada are crazy for 993's but you know how the market would receive a "US" car with 205,000km! Anyway, I am having a blast planning the aero kit, lowering, tinting, ECU, exhaust etceteras...and in fact, think I love it more than my new TT - and I haven't even driven either of them yet. I sold a 996 Aero CAB that I owned for 10 years and put only 44,000 km on it so I am not used to high mileage Porsches. Sold my 97 C4S to buy that 996 and I was always sorry I did that. Quite frankly, I really prefer the 993 to the 997 - I just wanted a nice relatively inexpensive track car...which I hope to achieve - I do wish it had only 65 or 75 thousand miles on it though.....mental block I guess.

Looks great! Leave the lip polished on the wheels! I think that is the best look with red, anyway.

I've seen cars with 45K with worse looking seats. May indicate at least above average diligence on the part of the PO.

If you're spending money to paint the wheels, have you considered doing it to 18" wheels? That's a quasi-mandatory RL upgrade

Congrats on the car!
