What I find interesting is that the Evil Doctor Karim hasn't posted. As Mark stated that he was going to post his bad experience on the board, you know Karim most likely has read this thread.

Personally, I'd be against a ban. What he did was ****ty, but no money exchanged hands and the only crime is his lack of morality. I wish being a scumbag was against the law, but it isn't.

I think the punishment of having your reputation ruined on here is a good enough one. If I ever see him start a post, I'll make sure to post on it and remind fellow Rennlisters that he and his words are not to be trusted.

WOW, what a story. Sounds like he had no idea what they were worth, then when he found out, he deiced he wanted more.

Even $2500 is a great deal for Motons. Oh, well, they show up from time to time.

I have both purchased & sold quite a few things on the list, everything has gone smooth. If anything I've been bad at not shipping things out quickly.

 

I don't think you can ban him for "ungentlemanly conduct" although IIRC there is a prohibition against auction-type sales.

 

I'm sorry to hear about that, Mark. People like that shouldn't be part of a group like this. I have just bought a 993 Cab from TAI2. and shipped it to France. Nobody could have been more helpful, great to deal with, reasonable and with a car that was way beyond my expectation at a price that suited us both. It is a great shame that we sometimes get a bad egg in the box.
