I've seen two types of circuit board inside the tacho, the most common one with through-hole components (easy transistor fix) and a surface mounted component version. Sadly, I have no information on how to fix the latter.
Cheers,
Tore

Might just want to send it out to North Hollywood Speedo to have them fix it. I failed the DIY on mine.

They charge $400-$500. There're sources that charge about half of that.

Give the tach a good tap or pull it out slightly to do so too. Seem to work and mine has been working again, although I don't drive as regularly this time of year. Mine also developed an issue where portions of the digits went missing, somehow it's back to normal.

NHS seems to be the best solution just to get it back like new again.

I,m having a issue with my OBC, it's coming and going all the time.

Almost always when I start the car it's working and I can see the info at the display, but driving a few minutes it goes black.

It can come back for a few minutes driving, but goes black again soon. ( the display is coming and goning)

I felt the control arm was loose a bit, so I thighted it today, but the problem is still there.

Anyone knows how to fix it.

( Read this thread, but my english is mot the best, some words I didn't understand..)

Regards
The Swede!!
