So are you keeping the carpet cashmere, or replacing that too?

The base cashmere silverknit carpet will stay, along with the cashmere that remains on the door panels. Getting black floor mats also, but I still like the 2-tone look, so I want to keep some cashmere for contrast. Cheers.

I think it looks really well now and the floor mats will make it look even better. Good work!

Paul stopped by the shop yesterday so I could see his work first hand. It looks really great. Nice work, Paul (as usual).

Thanks Darin. By the way, thanks for engineering the seat rail spacers so my new 996 seats had full movement in the 993. I am getting used to these FDM solutions, I really appreciate it

I love it, really nice job on the interior (and Exterior) I can't wait to see it with the floor mats, the cashmere script will look awesome.

Sounds great!...same Starbucks on Cobb Parkway? Just let me know when/where and I'm there.

Just for reference, here is a shot of my cashmere/black interior as delivered by the factory. Not sure whether it was available with the colors reversed. I have changed to a black shifter since this picture was take. I really like the 2 tone look.

Hi Chuck, thanks for the photo, I have never seen that specific combination, especially black carpet on the door storage bins, but with cashmere binding. Very nice.....thanks.

I am resurrecting this 5 year old thread for a final update in the cashmere to black conversion. This last weekend, I installed black carpet and dyed my last couple panels black. Just for fun, here are a few before/after shots, 10 years in the making!

Thanks Ryan, it's a shame my car will be up on the lift (really high up on the lift) the week of your visit, but next time for sure
