I was updating my maintenance records based on the work the PO had done. According to the receipts the rotor and cap have never been done and I have 71k miles. The cars runs well. I'll do an inspection this winter but is it even possible that they would be original?

I just had my caps and rotors replaced this summer with about 50k on them. I am on my second set of caps and rotors. They replaced them even though they were working fine for me. They said there was cracking and a lot of wear to them and the contact areas were scorched. May not be a bad idea to replace them. My car starts and runs smoothly now, it would be more peace of mind than anything else. May want to replace your dist. belt if your in there.

Well if they say 30 it will probably run 60 so it might have the original parts. I've got 5 or 6 months to sort it out now.

Maybe do the belts too.
