What do you think about applying a paint scheme like the 997 GT3 RS to a metallic black 993? Orange is too over-the-top for me, as would be any bright color. I'm thinking more like a dark grey (a la Vesuvio cars' mirrors)? Trouble is, metallic black has some brown-ish overtones, so gray might not work. How about straight black? I kind of like the idea of black on metallic black. Very subtle.

This would go on the wheels, mirrors, door handles, maybe brake calipers, maybe "Carrera" side script, what else?

I'm just dreaming at this point. What my car really needs is a full re-spray to fix all of the road rash and door dings!

Rather than paint you can just get vinyl stickers...actually you could do a vinyl color change for about 2-4k

I'd say be careful with that mettalic black. The black may look good. IMHO, have some black RS stickers made up and try that first.

Seriously, I like the graphics on some cars. On your metallic black car a more subtle silver/grey might be best.

Me? I'd like to see an RS clone in Grand Prix White with green graphics and green centred Speedlines. And this plate: RSNOT.
