Default FS: '98 C2S 29K miles, $46K***UPDATE****

SOLD BUT UPDATED THIS THREAD APRIL 8, 2010...see last post

Already for sale. Picked this up in late July, drove it across the country and most nice days since. It now has 29K miles on it, recent service at Automobile Associates (Jim's Garage in Canton).

Car is great but a friend in desperate $$ need comes first. There will always be time for other P-cars in my future.

Ebay auction: 270471097179

Also listed on

PCA, ad 14193,

Autotrader.com: Ad AT-101165F6

Cars.com & Pelican

Only thing I've done besides putting 5000 miles on it and a getting a recent fluid change is replaced the switchblade key fobs with the two piece ones (I'll throw in those empty switchblade keyfobs too )

Looks nice but you might want to correct the ebay ad to say it's NOT AWD. Those of us who know know but some unspecting person might not. Also someone who does know the diff. might think you're trying to pull one over on them.

Just a suggestion.

Thanks everyone who inquired. There were quite a few inquiries.

An anecedotal observation....there must be a lot of shady sellers out there; it seems no one trusts anyone when it comes to buying and selling a car. Disappointing.

Anyways...I'll be back!

Default Back in the Saddle Again :)

Thought this post should be updated...now that pictures have been taken

While I wished I could have that low mileage '98 back...the buyer wouldn't sell it back to me. Just missed out on a couple of great cars here on rennlist in the hunt for a replacement. Really focused my search on the West Coast for the sole purpose of driving across the country as I did with the other two cars.

Found this one gathering dust not 20 miles from my house. It's been dusted off, driven hard the last two days and now in my garage

All stock including the Aerokit II. Only add on was a CD changer. 120K miles, two previous owners, all records since new, PPI showed a front bumper respray, new Bilsteens, perfect mechanicals, no leaks. After a 200 mile spirited drive on CT back roads...and at 1/2 the price of the one I just sold....I needed no further convincing.

Really like the look of the '96 TT rims and the hollow spoke TT rims but after changing them out on the last two cars much prefer the ride of the 17" cups, especially for the type of driving I do....mostly off interstate on the twistiest, turniest roads to be found. Planning a 3000 mile trip to the mid-west next month and then X-country in Aug.

I'll replace the front light lenses and the removable carpets. No plans to lower the suspension but that factory engine sound package could use some decibal enhancement. Any suggestions on ordering these parts?

Thanks!
