Does anybody know this car? Apparently it was traded

Nice looking car at Isrig. Price seems in line to me (before Negotiation) for a dealer in the midwest. They have a good reputation, and move several Porsche's.

Jason, it is not in the color combo you wanted.
Both red and blue leather interiors are pretty classic Porsche.
The problem, IMO, with the Porsche red interiors is that after some time, the carpets start turning pink.

I forgot to ask, how much does a 30,000 mile service cost with the plugs/belts?
The reason I'm asking is that the service records do not indicate that those items have been changed.
It's sort of alarming that a so called 'one owner' car that has been loved so dearly didn't get the 30,000 mile service.
Maybe they forgot to fax me that particular service visit or perhaps the old owner went to an indy shop to have it done.
One way or the other, if thaty service wasn't completed, it would be a sticking point for me.
So, how much does it usually cost?
It would seem that if that service has not been done and it passes compression and leak down, that would be a perfect time to have new plugs put in and the belts done while it's getting the PPI.
I just need to have my ducks in a row because that would be coming off the selling price for sure.

Negotiate with Luke, and have them do the 30K service at cost, as part of the deal. Win-win. They get the car sold, break even on the parts & labor, your happy, the car is done & ready when you pick it up.

My take on prices... If the car is what you want and YOU are satisfied with what you're paying, that's all that matters. It's about what it's worth to you and what it's worth to the seller to let her go. While I don't want to overpay myself, in my mind I have a number that feels right. It is obviously influenced by the market, what I see going on here, my requirements, etc., but bottom line, if I feel good about the purchase when I go to sleep at night, then I think I did well.
Hope it works out for you. Good luck!

One thing I noticed in the ad is they indicate Sport Adaptive Seats, which the car as pictured clearly does not have.

And, I'm not really paying that much more than market if I figure in my travel to go check out a car and either drive it home or arrange shipping home.
We'll see how the PPI goes tomorrow.

Are you in Chicago proper, or the 'burbs?

Do NOT ship it home, Jason!
That will add expense to the CA car and bring it more in-line with the Springfield car.
The PPI is happening today. I should have compression numbers and leakdown #'s later. If everything checks out I have a buddy driving me down in the AM to buy it and drive it home!
He has a 993TT (converted to a RWD GT2 - total track car with plates) that we plan on driving down
He knows a lot about these cars so will be able to look it over too.

Good luck with the PPI Jason.
p.s. if you're driving 4 hours in Josh's car, don't forget the earplugs. And water to soothe your throat, which will be hoarse from yelling.

ha hope it works out for you jason!
You know, if market is $40,000, then $44,000 is appropriate with the doctor discount (10% mark-up).

I'm hoping the compression and leakdown #'s look good!
