This car has been driven 2.9 miles a week over it's lifetime, on average.

Last year a local P-club kid bought an ultra low-mile 993 C2 stick shift from Japan for US$60K plus freight plus import duty. He showed it to us at our club house once. The car surely was in mint condition as I could still smell leather when in it.

Due to the high import duty and merchandise tax, a new 997 C2 in Taiwan starts from US$184K. A new 997 Turbo sells for US$270K. That is why.

Maybe you have heard the expression "different strokes for different folks...". I too wouldn't have a 993 I 'couldn't' drive. But I'm not gonna sweat someone who decides to use his own 993 for whatever purpose he decides.

Default RE-listed

First auction ended with zero bids, at $93,900 opening price.

Re-listed at lower price:
1997 Porsche 911: 4S 993. Item # 260491311508. FS by kmarimon. No affiliation.

FWIW, sports cars FS at premium prices but without engine photographs surprise me.
Just sayin'.

Exclamation Starting bid $110k USD

OT, yet related:

"1997 Porsche 911 Turbo: only 3800 miles!" Item #260489501480. FS by tomwilliamspa. No affiliation, but I hope they both sell for big bucks.

I think it's the classic phone that calls for Cactus-Coin.

Surprise! ...no engine/ intercooler photos (see above post)
