Great thread. I only wished that I had taken pics at delivery.

I only wish I had taken pics at delivery...993Porsche
Some years ago, Flying magazine ran a poignant piece about a commercial pilot's (I think it may have been Len Morgan), reminiscences on a lengthy career. He described a number of individuals who had been key players in that, and regretted that he didn't have pictures of any of them.
For some reason, that article stuck in my mind, and I have tried to keep a photo record of greater and lesser events in my life, as they occurred.
With the development of ever more compact and sophisticated digital cameras, it's become much easier and convenient. But even a cell phone picture is better than nothing.

Rome, pic #2 is extraordinary because the incredible shade of blue is so evident. Most times, Ocean Blue looks like the later pictures, not washed out, but very difficult to really appreciate how drop-dead-gorgeous it is. But you managed to really capture the exotic and beautiful undertone of our color! Me like it!!!!
David, lord have mercy!!!!!!! What a view!

My wife was in town, when my car arrived. She's in this picture wearing a down parka as the car was being unloaded. A light snow flurry would start shortly on the drive home from the delivery location.

Great Day!
First pic is the day I finalized the sale, followed by a few pics on the day of arrival. I picked it up with 29k miles on the odo. Sorry for the poor quality, but I only shot video and these are stills from the video.

On the way home with the yellow car. Didn't need to actually tow it home, except that Kim gave me a full TRUCKLOAD of spares; and he needed the trailer up at Thunderhill a week later.

Here's my first look, I still have a smile on my face!
My camera failed that morning, so these are off the cell phone.
NB. The DeMoise carrier, which was not that old, had over .85 million miles on the clock. See last picture.
