Anyone else have a pic of the day they got their 993?
Came across this one a few weeks ago:
http://www.p-car.com/reviews/993vsaudis4/993.jpg Back in 2001. Took delivery around mid-day and blew off the rest of the work day to drive around Miami. Sadly, this is the only picture I can still retrace from that day even though I took lots of pictures. Car looks a lot different now with coilovers, removed front bumperettes, Turbo S brake ducts and clear turn signals.. And I still have that red Sparco seat belt cover somewhere.. |

I still remember that photo. I don't have the 1st day photo available (it exists) but here is one early photo, the way car looked when I bought it. How about "transformation photos"..? After the 1st, stock photo, here's one with some modifications, then little more, more again. I don't have a current photo, it's not much different from the last photo though, I've put the regular hood back and installed the RS side skirts. And I have in the garage 993 RSCS wing & splitters so those pieces will be on the car at some point although I know already I won't sell the "regular" RS pieces so I can go back to what it is now. Interior and drivetrain have changed a bit too but that's for another thread... |
