Should I go or should I stay
Hi,
How much would you value a 1995 993 C2 coupe, manual transmission, with 120k miles ? this is not to sale, this me to buy
All looks excellent from a body and mechanics perspective, except the airbag light that stays on.
Thanks in advance for your advices,
F

Methinks you'll get answers in a $10K range from members of the list.
Depends what it's worth to you. In this market given what you said as a purchase I think just over $20K would be fair with a clean bill of health on the car. Airbag light could cost you anywhere from $50 for a reset to the price of a new airbag to fix - I'm guessing, but approaching $1K. Probably on the lower end but a good bargaining item nonetheless. typical wear items I'd be looking for documentation that they had been done. Search the list for typical wear items and check them.
At this price you might want a variance even for worn tires. A set of 17s all around will run you approx $700.

Cond. of exhaust system, brakes, engine (leak-down, compression test nos.), ignition, clutch? These things can add up quickly if not factored in. If you do most of your own work, that's a +. If you have to pay others, that's a -. '95=OBD1. That's a big +. If it's a very early '95, no SAI, another +. If it doesn't have the dreaded IMMOBILIZER, that's another big +.
