Bert-- I think you're right: I saw it at Speed Gallery when originally for sale. What you wrote is what I was thinking. See RLer eclou's "GT2 clone on ebay" thread on the 993 Turbo forum.

Speaking of GT2s, I really enjoyed meeting you out west recently, & hope to catch up with you back east, or wherever I'm lucky enough to see you & your amazing black custom 993.

excellent example..did you get enough pics? LOL
I'm considering coming out for the German autofest but writing this from a rainey vacation in Brazil.
