993 varioram uses 004 part, should work fine.

I don't think replacing these is as critical as on Motec systems where you must re-calibrate the TPS to zero at closed throttle whenever you change it, but if you have access the actual values of your ecu through the Porsche System Tester you can check that it is set correctly. Your local specialist should be more than capable of doing this for you.

That is very likely a Bosch part and available outside of Porsche.
If you can get a Bosch number off of it I can use that also...

something like "0 280 122 004"

It might be the same TPS used on other 993s... 944 606 116 01
