Some form of twin turbo, a 996 cab if I can find the perfect one.. or I'll wait till spring and start looking hard at the 997tt cabs.

Wow. Makes me sick to see it go also but then again I have obvious empathy (see avatar).

Actually I was really going to comment on the fact that the buyer is choosing to ship it open. I don't think I could have dealt with the anxiety of doing that for the difference in price. Hope he treats her better when she gets there.

Mine'll be gone Friday, although it's being delivered in person. Sad to see her go, but I hope the new owner stays around these parts.

It looks so sad on the truck... seems to be saying "But why? What did I do?"

Have fun with the replacement!

It does, doesn't it?

I will absolutely be back in a 993 at some point, just not sure exactly how soon. If "the" car falls in my lap, I won't be able pass it up.

I feel ya...I too was thinking "what the hell did i do?"...but now i feel a little better seeing as how there are some pretty neat cars along for the ride...So riding open can't be all that bad (I hope)...Rest assured she is going to a good home in the great state of Texas...Matt, it was a pleasure doing business with you

I've always wondered about the open vs closed trailer debate when shipping. When I drive my car at Mach 1 its pretty open to the elements!!!

I used autotrader and Rennlist. In the end, I got quite a few calls from autotrader, but I think the most serious, and ultimately the one that's going to pick mine up tomorrow was from here.

I listed it in mid July if I recall, although I'd posted some feeler and other threads for quite some time as I tried to decide if I really wanted to sell.
