Not a good day in Michigan...

Bad day indeed and most unfortunate. Looks like a red tombstone has been placed for the tragedy.

WOW, that's gotta hurt!
Are you sure the driver/owner of the car is ok with you posting the photos in public?
There's nothing illegal in doing so if photos were taken by you but courtesy towards another P-car enthusiast is another thing...

Three Wheelin'
I wouldn't post these without the consent of the owner and would at the very least black out his license plate.
Sucks that it happened, I hope he had some DE insurance

I'm just curious about why these photos shouldn't be posted without the consent of the owner? Especially if these photos were taken on a course open to the public? It sorta reminds me of the mindset of not showing the coffins of those killed in ill-advised wars.
Personally, I think it's a good thing to see what can happen when your reach as a driver exceeds your grasp. It's a great object lesson for everyone to see what the downsides are to racing.
I know many folks these days are not big on being held accountable for their actions, but we sure could use more of it.

Are your taxes being used to fund the war in the above photos? Or did your elected officials authorize it so you feel you have the right to know?
So you are sure the driver in the photo is at fault. And you can clearly tell he was racing. I'd like to know where you buy your crystal *****.
More of what exactly?

Nope, none of my taxes were being used to fund this blunder. For once.
Nope, I don't know if he was at fault, but I'd be willing to bet a small wager that he probably wasn't 100% innocent, either. Just a hunch I got from my crystal ball.
As far as "racing" is concerned, let's not get bogged down in semantics, Turbo. I'm gonna further use my crystal ball, or even better my eyes, to see he's clearly on a track. So that's what I meant by 'racing'. Please forgive my use of the word 'racing'. 'Crashing' would've been more appropriate, I guess.
I feel badly for the driver, but as I said earlier, I think it's instructive for people to see what can happen at the track. Many of these accidents are caused by driver's whose abilities are not as keen as their desires. I've seen lots of cool action shots posted by people on the forum. I just think it also serves a purpose to see the flip side.
Sorry if my previous post so offended you. Try to relax and enjoy the rest of your day.

Wow! Terrible to see that level of 993 destruction. It's probably a safe bet that the driver escaped harm.
