Default Leg Room less on passenger side?

I've had quite a few riders complain that they don't have enough leg room. It seems there is less leg room on the passenger side. Is this normal or is my seat not going all the way back on the rail. I definitely can bring the drivers side seat further back. I have the heated power seats with lumbar

Yep my wife complains about the same thing. You can remove the seat and reposition it on the furthest mounting points (bolt holes). The back of the seat will be right at the rear seats so no rear passengers on that side.

Strangely, the 964 seemed to have more room than the 993.

I have noticed the same thing. But I must say...when I'm in the 993...my passenger's comfort is of little consequence to me. Besides, it's very rare for me to have a passenger anyway.

The passenger compartment is indeed not symetrical.

Is this due to the fuel cell being wider in that part of the car

Thanks for all of the replies, I thought for sure my seat was not going all the way back in the track, as for dating... too late I married my last date....
best advice... drive alone less weight in the car and I enjoy the sound of the engine without constant chatter.

The floor on the passenger side is not flat either. My wife doesn't mind the leg room, but the uneven floor bugs her. I am waiting for Rennline to build the passenger side floor boards.

Hint hint Rennline if you are reading this thread!

The way the fuel tank is shaped causes this. The fuel pump and tank are right under the feet of the passenger. Thank you evaporator replacement lol

Thanks Mike,

I just had that complaint to day on a trip down to Deep Creek, I will look into doing this, or just ride alone from now on!
