Here's my saga of mounting Recaro seats in a 993
besides the RS mount for the stock seat belt receptacle you also need at least 3x 3mm spacers for the other corners of a seat, you can use oem RS washers or some 3mm stock, I used a combination of both on mine as I over engineered the fastening system

Sweet seats! ![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)
Grind away the excess material on the bracket. The bracket on the GT3 seats in my turbo were modified to lower the seats some.

...I've circled in red the spot where the side mount will interfere with the seat belt opening grommet if I want to put the seat at its lower mounting position. Well, I want to put the seat at its lower mounting position. How do I get around the seat belt grommet? Do I have to run spacers between the side mount and seat? Is this the preferred solution? Or should I hack up the grommet (which I'd rather not do)?
