I have included a pic of him hard at it...ugh...

We ran out of gas about 8 pm. Got a good start tho...

The real fun begins today ...it's is going to be a big day.

How high does this thing need to be up in the air to clear the engine?

Wow... you should sell copies of that manual.

Good luck! I'm anxiously watching to see if I want to try it myself this winter if mine is still here.

Thanks Murph!

When I'm done with this project, I'd be happy to donate it to you for your project.

Bob-
73cm (28.7”) , that's what you need to roll the engine out. You have to add the height of the lift on which the engine will be when you pull it out.

Default Sorry

I just realized that I have hijacked this thread. My apologies to boubi the "thread starter" and other contributors wanting to discuss hydraulic valve lifters.

My bad.

I will start my own thread for those interested in my project.

Bob, I don't see your new thread yet so one last hi-jack post

Too late but a couple of items (for next time):
You can disconnect the tail light harness at the connecter inside the engine compartment and pull it through the rubber grommet. This is easier than removing it from the bumper cover.

Labelling with letters is another way to do it. Same letter at end of each connection. A to A, B to B, etc.

Looks like you are pretty methodical, this is good!
Hope all is well!
