Default Experience with Fabspeed Header/Muffler System?

Anyone have experience with the Fabspeed Header/Muffler System? DE accident destroyed one Fabspeed muffler, factory cat and heat exchanger. Instead of replacing what I had (especially the $$$ cat), I'm considering going with Fabspeed's whole system. My main concern is how loud it will be. I like a great sound as much as the next guy, but I want to be able to drive the car around town and road trips as well as on the track. Thoughts?

I have the header muffler setup, I don't think it is any louder than the maxflo mufflers. I was concerned it would have a droan at crusing speeds, I'm 59 and it doesn't bother me at all. It really cleans up the under side of the car and I thought the quality was good.

I know this is a dead thread, but I am curious to hear if anyone else has tried out this system recently and what they think about it. I don't see too many posts regarding this system... probably the $$$/fun ratio isn't high enough.
I am also wondering what size the muffler is (IE 5x11x22") and what size the secondary tubing is. The headers are beautiful!
Is it too loud, too quiet, too low pitched etc? I read on another post that it made the car sound like a 5.0 Mustang, is this the common consensus?

I just had the x-pipe, sport cat and maxflo system installed on my 95/993 cab. Its sounds great and I m very happy with it. No problem to cruising around in city and it's roar like an V8 when it rev. Recently I had the by-pass pipe and BMC filter installed and it's ges very well.

Terence,
If you have the sport cat then you must have the dual mufflers that fit into the stock locations. I am trying to get feedback on the single large muffler that hangs back where the stock cats go.
Thank you so for your feedback though, I'll bet your car sounds awesome!

The Fabspeed RSR equal lenght headers and dual in dual out muffler system is great! I have had the system for quite some time now, and I love the sound. Now they also have an X-pipe set up for the RSR headers for a more agressive sound. I have made a Y-pipe with no muffler at all, and the sound on high rpm is like a GT3 Cup car. Awesome on the track, but I guess my neighbours hate it...
I can change between the muffler and the Y-pipe in about 5 minutes!

Thanks for the Feedback guys, we do have our Header muffler kit also available with Sport Cats if you need to pass emissions and for a quieter sound. But they are quickly removable with V band Clams and replaced with our straight pipes for track use. It also improved the power and exhaust sound. We have the system available with our muffler setup and the Supercup X Pipe for better exhaust flow and balancing. PM me if you have any questions and I will offer a mid summer special to all members.
