OK...I just confirmed a deal on the car. Assuming there no surprises with the PPI, I am to be the proud new owner of this fine automobile. Between my requested detailing and a ppi, it will probably be a week or two before she arrives at her new home.

Here are a few poor quality shots I took with my phone at the viewing....she was stabled next to a Turbo S, so I hope she finds my stable acceptable.

I didn't expect this thread to end so quickly, and in this way. Congrats on the blue jellybean. Most of us here love that color, including Seinfeld. This has been an entertaining 10 minutes reading the entire thread just now. Good luck with it.

Congratulations! She's a real beauty. I'll look forward to seeing it in person in the near future at a DFW gathering. BTW are you giving up one of your other cars?

Thanks for the kind words. This was the color I was first searching for when I purchased my other 993s. It appears that my garage will start to look like a bag of jelly beans. My '69 Citroen DS21 is in need of a paint job and I was going to go with turquoise blue. What color (within reason) should I pick now that the blue has been taken? My wife is suggesting black with a white roof. hmmmm

I have a three car attached garage, but I can fit two SUVs and both of my current Porsches (40ft wide by 27ft deep).

I just completed a new stable (for horses and cars) that can hold a half dozen of each (cars and horses) if needed, but I designed it to hold four cars and four horses. The stable is not yet finished, but here are a few pics of my work in progress....lift(s) to come. I first need to add the last part of the road to get cars into the stable

Someday when the roads are better on the last half mile to my home, I would love to have a Rennlist bbq at the ranch.

John,

Congratulations on a great addition! I am very happy for you and can't wait to see it. I hope it arrives soon enough to make its debut at Cars & Coffee.

Congrats! She is really beautiful. Did you ask them about the discrepancy on the CA on the rear wiper?

LOL...my 5 year old son asked today when we were going to get a green Porsche. All I could do was smile and look over at my wife. Perhaps the Citroen should be green.

I did ask and Ray told me that he had removed the rear wiper for the po. RPM has had this car through their facility in the past and did the upgrade/replacements.

They do it the last Saturday of every month. This August happens to have 5 Saturdays, so it should be on the 29th. Let us know when it arrives - us Dallas boys would like to see it sooner if possible.
