Default WTB High mileage C2S

I have been lurking for a while, and trying to read as much using the search function as possible, and am now ready to find a C2S.
I have an 88 coupe that I have fixed up and use as a DD. I would like to find a 993 S that could use a little attention, fix it up while driving the 911, then maybe shift to it as a DD.
I found several posts of people wanting a high mileage car, but no outcome.
Did they find the cars too hard to find, or need too much? I plan on doing all the work myself. I have always wanted a wide body, and from past readings, it would seem higher ( over 135k) miles can soften some of the premium. It seems that prices are down just a bit for all of them, and this seems to be gravitating buyers towards cars a little nicer than they would have looked at a year ago.
Just curious as to the general consensus lately, and any pointers.

Cheers,
Emerald

Beautiful car. I am looking for one with more miles and a lower price, but thanks.

As I'm sure you're aware, there's no such thing as a "cheap" Porsche. Personally, I'd look for a better condition C2. And by better condition I don't necessarily mean "low mile" either. A well sorted and maintained 100K + C2 can be had for under $30K these days, sometimes quite a bit under.

Thanks for the suggestion. The prices do seem to be all over the board lately.

I have a customer who is getting ready to list his 97 C2S that will be going for sale. 113,000 miles, black on black. Owner is going to be asking in the low 30's. I haven't seen it listed yet, but it should be within the next week or so.

I was looking at a 2S this past winter 105K that sold for 22K that was a steal, I would have picked up on it but just was not my color combo. It sold in a week.
