Default Slightly OT: 993 Vanity Plates

I was kicking around the idea of getting a vanity plate for my 993, and came up with some ideas that I ultimately decided not to use but thought others might like or simply find amusing. According to the California DMV, all of these are currently available and don't violate any of their rules. In no particular order:

NEIN93 (a little German play on words)
CARO2A (Car 'Air' A - maybe stretching it a bit )
NO OBD2 (For a '95, obviously)
993COUP (Needs no further explanation)
RS LOOK (For those with RS look alikes)

Anyoe else care to share their ideas for 993-related vanity plates? Perhaps I have a bit too much time on my hands...

Good ideas, and you should find several older threads on the topic.

But i guess you would want to change "NEIN93" to "KEIN93", as Nein means Not and Kein means No
"KEINH2O" is also popular

My plate is "98-S" and most people ask me what year it is.

Yeah, I realize the plate doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it uses a German word and sounds just like 993 so it sort of works on some level

fwiw, 99DREI is available in CA.

I tend to stay away from personalized plates. A lot of crazies on the freeway and having a recognizable plate, well, might not be the greatest idea. Also being anonymous has its benefits.

Yup, lots of threads on this topic.

Also do a general google search for ideas -- there's a bazillion out there (i.e. MBenz, BMW, Ferrari, etc.) -- and many 'originals' you can 'morph' (by switching letters or just using a 'stem') towards making the end-result "sensible" in the 'Porsche world'.

One very nice one that I considered was one which used two capital letter Q's -- which, together, looked like two 'eyes'.

2LQQK4

But when read 'as one' -- it reads "TO LOOK FOR".

Good 'LQQK' :-)

I tell them that its not really what they think. I have to explain it more than you'd think..... "But its a 911, not a 930"!!!!!!!!

I'm dreaming of the day I can put this on my (as yet, hypothetical) Viper Green 993RS clone: RSNOT.
