RL sponsor MAcarbon.com has started their own line of 993 / 964 carbon fiber interior parts, made in the USA.

I edited the original post to separate two related but different subjects:
MAcarbon vs. non-MAcarbon eBay auctions.
Please specify which in your posts. ... oh, wait, they're both pretty expensive.![Embarrassment](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)
I think MAcarbon's products may be initially high-priced since they're brand new & may include development costs. With MAcarbon having RL accounts, they should be aware of the pricelist of Germany's Marcus B.
Kevin-- It's my impression they plan to expand the line, but I think CF e-brake (at least with aluminum & logo engraving) is one of the most challenging interior parts. Might be the last they wanna tackle, but dunno.
The non-MAcarbon eBay auctions are New Old Stock. MAcarbon's are after-market, but the![](http://www.porschemania.it/discus/clipart/new3d.gif)
first vendor I've seen to offer 993-specific CF parts commercially from the USA.
There's a few RL posts from MAcarbon users (mostly water-cooled users), mostly all positive. Hopefully a 993er will eventually post personal experience here.

Since these aren't sport seats, capitalism as we know it won't be ruined.

FS: OEM CF e-brake handle sleeve for $175.
AFAIK, you can keep your existing e-brake handle.
Only 1 in inventory. contact RPM Sports Cars 713-465-4606
Hope this helps out a RLister. If so, please share how it turns out.
otherwise, FVD for $262, or other sources. (FVD's might not be OEM, may be Marcus B's production.)

CF is cool and all but you guys are right its ridiculously expensive. I have been slowly adding to my collection over the past year and have so far scored a shifter for $200 and a CF 4 spoke for $350. The good deals to come around once in a while but they are usually hidden and private sales rather than these serial rapists. If MA carbon was smart they would take core exchanges on all their products and lower their price as they could def get more volume. Such a high price you will have few takers.

While those prices are expensive (and think small CF pieces are generally expensive...makes my GT3 seats seem like a bargain!) I am tempted...at least a little. And while we all like/want to complain about the prices, we should also be thankful that ANY vendor is willing to make new parts for what is now a 12 year old car...a very limited market compared to the potential sales volume for 997, Cayman, Boxster and Cayenne parts. Trying to sell a $500 accessory to an owner of a $30k car is a much bigger challenge than for a $70k car.

Guys, it doesn't have to be expensive. Check this place out for your carbon fibre..www.carbontech.com.hk
I am in Australia and they did my steering wheel and interior. The whole lot took a week.
