Default So... i decided to buy a set of clear corners off ebay...

... and the results are completely hilarious as expected.

I wasnt sure if i like the look of clears on my car better than the ambers, so before i went ahead and spent money shaving and spending hundreds of dollars on OEM clears, i decided to buy a set off ebay for $35 so i could have an idea what it looks like.

i havent put them on the car yet, but one of the parts isnt even sealed with the clear plastic to the housing. the glue line looks like it was done by a 3rd grader.

just incase anyone was ever SERIOUSLY considering putting these on their car, dont. lol

Robby

PS, ill post pixx in a few minutes when i get them on the car

Porsche lights are the only way to go... Sunset Porsche has them for ~$55.00 each.

$214.00 OUCH!

I bought the real deal (OEM) and cut them down to size and sealed them myself. I think it was my first DIY project on the 993. Not difficult and if you are careful and patient it turns out super nice.

I bought a pair of US spec clear corners from better bodies and they worked perfectly. Then I ordered a pair of euro ones (for when I get rid of bumperettes) from ebay seller Ultimate Auto Limited for about $80 but I haven't installed them yet. Anyone have experience with this seller? I think they're in Singapore.

I just think the price you paid seems excessive. That's all.

I've slept since the order but I'm certain they were $186 each from Sunset. I ordered plastic coverings from Lamin-x the same day.

You should buy your items from Sunset...real Porsche parts and a lot cheaper than what you have been paying...I'm just saying...

Gert sells the Euro (bumperette delete style) clears for $150. OEM and a perfect fit. Modest shipping from Belgium and super fast delivery.

Sunset and Gert, ftw with OEM stuff, imho.
