Will 17" Targa Wheels Look Funny when Lowered to ROW?

I would like to get some opinions and better yet some pictures of 17" wheels with ROW ride height. I wonder if they will look odd by not filling up the wheel well. I am not planning on 18" wheels yet and the supsension (still deciding which way to go) is next after a new SAI check valve and Carb Cleaner Drip to clear out the ports. (frick'n CEL
)
Thoughts an opinions appreciated.

Dryfly,
I have the same car as you! I have added Bilstein HD's and ROW sport suspension and it looks great. I think the wheels look great on the lowered car.

They will look absolutely terrible with lowered car. Give them to me!
Seriously, I have a lowered cab with 17" Cup 2s and am staunchly opposed to larger wheels for my car. I like 17"s. I'll stay with them. If i find 17" RUFs in late offset or Kinesis in the same size, I might go with them. Others prefer the look of 18" wheels, it's a very personal thing.

I just replaced my 17" Cup wheels with 18" Turbo Twists simply because I love they way they look. I am lowering it w/ PSS10s next week. Honestly, I think the 17" wheels handled better. I feel very out of control on tight curves on the 18s compared to the 17s. It's very disappointing after I have obsessed over the 18" wheels for over a year now. Hopefully, I will get used to the new feeling. I always thought the 18" wheels were supposed to handle better. Alas, I am sticking w/ the 18s because I am vain.

Thanks all for your input.
Phil, I would still like to see pics of our (I mean your) Targa lowered if you find the time.
Tim, its comming down. Now I just need to decide with what suspension system.
Mike, I am staying with 17" as well for the reason ga993 just illustrated.
ga993, I wonder if it is the 18" wheels or the suspension?
Chuck your cab looked great lowered with Targa wheels..... I mean really great.
Thanks again for your responses.

Mines a Targa, lowered, white, and has the factory wheels
I think 18s would look better, but it doesn't look funny with the 17s.
All I can find currently is this picture
but if I can remember to take my camera to work today Ill snap some photos in the parking garage to give you a good look at it on flat ground.
The pict below looks like the front is higher than it really is because of the angle and the lumpy driveway, Ill get something more accurate today

Ok... so all the help you guys have been raises another question:
Do I understand the heights correctly (in decending order)?
1. US/SUV = Tallest
2. ROW
3. ROW Sport
4. RS = Lowest
What is the diff between ROW and ROW Sport? is there one?

BTW, to chime in on the orig post, my 17s (the stock Cups) look awesome on my slightly-lower-than-RoW ride height.

Lowering actually makes smaller diameter wheels appear larger.
( please excuse the quicky photoshop drop )
