I doubt a 49 will work. BTW, have you ever seen a NB from the rear that was wearing 285s? Mmmm, now that's a good look. Did you look at the offerings from CCW?

Is that true?
They MIGHT if you are willing to roll the fenders and use max width of 265 or 285 depending on the shoulder profile (and possibly pull the fenders). It will be tight though and as a caveat 993s are known to have slightly different clearance from car to car, and even between the left and right sides of the same car (1 or 2 Rennlisters had to use a spacer on one side to make the sides symetrical cosmetically). I would guess that if you are able to fit them you will be limited to 265 width max. I personally would not buy a set of aggressive offset wheels without test fitting them first with the tires you plan to use.

FWIW, my 11" ET52 with 295 PS2s rub slightly on big bumps on the right side but not the left...but they were fine with 285 SO2s and never rubbed. And my car is not that low so the clearance difference between my 11" wheels and a 10" wheel with similar offsets will not be by 1/2" on each side...more likely 1/8-1/4" only.

The ET49 would probably fit at stock ride height. I'd stick with the higher offset MS1 but if you MUST have the 73mm lip, it'll be pay to play ala fender rolling/pulling, severe neg camber.

Then you could submit for Hellaflush approval!
