Default new CCW C14 track wheels on their way in

I pulled the trigger and placed my order for some new CCW C14's today. $2600 plus shipping. Sizes are 8.5x18 w/ 52 offset and 10x18 w/ 65 offset. I'd had such a hard time putting Kumho V710's on my current front 8" hollow spokes that I decided to up the ante to 8.5" on the new C14's up front. They'll be here in plenty of time to give them a run at Buttonwillow in a couple of weeks. Woohoo!

Shannon,
I have been considering a set of CCW's for a second set of 18" rims myself.
Please post some pics when you get them an how you like the fit.

BTW, I may have I driven right by your new rims today on the way to work!

Congrats Shannon...great choice. I got my CCW C14s a few months ago and I'm very happy with them. FYI, I got my fronts in 9" which I use with 245 on a 25.5" tall tire and they don't rub.

Mark and Dave: Here's a link to my post on them.

The pics don't show it well but my big reds reflect on the alu and light up the wheel on fire. Yesterday I stopped at a cafe to get a sandwhich on the way back from AX and a guy walking by stopped and took about five pictures of the wheels. Lots of complements at this year's PCA yearly event too, where the pics on my post were taken.

Very cool Louis. After doing some research on different wheels, it was the pics in your post that pushed me over the edge and won me over.

Looks cool. Time to invest in a pressure washer!

Cool Shannon, please post pics once they're on your car. There's a product on my thread that will help keep them clean. You also want to listen to Mark or wear some thick gloves when you wash them as the spokes are very sharp.

I know this thread is old, but I am ready to pull the trigger on a set of CCW C14s (thanks to Louis' pics) and want to make sure I get the size/offset right...

If the OP "avidtest" could post some pics I would really appreciate it.
Also, for any of the people running these wheels on the street, have you noticed any downsides?

Thanks in advance!

I'm also about to pull the trigger on CCW but not C14. I wanted a little wheel lip so I went with something different. I'll post pictures hen I get them.

Maybe but not in the state it's in right now...... No seats, no wheels, no shift linkage..... But no worries, it will up and running by may.

You'll like them. I have a set of the Classics for autocrossing and the 245 V710s fit on the 8.5" fronts with ease.

John at CCW knows our cars very well. If you tell him the tires you want to use he'll make the wheels with the correct offset. I forget what mine are but the tires are 225/ 18 40 and 275/18 35

What tires are you using?? I'll be running Nitto NT-01 in 235 and 275. Those tires are pretty huge compared to others.
