So anyone around the long island area that has a 993 coupe for sale? I am only interested in a manual. Prefer silver, black, etc. No red or yellow. Please let me know if you or anyone you know has one for sale with lower miles.

I spent 7 months trying to find a nice 6-speed manual coupe in the Tri-state area. When I had found one (low-miles C2 in LI) it was already gone on the day I scheduled the PPI. I ended up purchasing my C2S in Georgia (had a blast driving it home though). Be patient, there are many abused 993's around here.

There are lots of cars listed in the classifieds here on RL. Have you checked them out? Some may not be in your area but it is also fun to purchase one from a distance and drive it back!
I purchased mine from two thousand miles away and had it shipped which is another option. I'm sure Rennlisters would check the car out for you if it is too far away.
Like kr994 posted above, your search can take a while. Don't be in a rush.
Best of luck on your purchase.

The PPI can certainly be done from a distance. Just find a reputable shop and if you are not sure of the shop ask here and others will chime in or suggest places to take the car to for the PPI. If the car is of a significant distance away a Rennlister would probably check it out for you.

Though it is a "buyers market" a well sorted car (full service history) with all the right mods/options (suspension, sport seats, TT bumper etc..) would be worth a little more IMHO. The others are correct. Expand your search for the right car.

993 guy what are you asking now? Saw the link and you have had for sale over 3 months and no buyers. Looks nice but the leather looks pretty worn. Please let me know what you are looking for on the car
