Would a BLACK 95 993 have basecoat/clearcoat paint?

From my understanding as well that all single color cars (Non-Metallic) are single stage paint (no clearcoat).

Tested a section of the paint with 3m imperial hand glaze, Rag was black, so definitely no clearcoat with original paint.

My body shop wanted to make it a two stage paint job but it did not match original color so the perfect match was blending the clear and blue paint together and what ever it is ... I got a great match to original paint . ????
