Yes, I didn’t understand it at first, but it really works. Like new, soft and clean.

Just what's on the surface with the dirt in it.
I am learning some new things here after using Leatherique for about 9 years.

I don't know if it's just a rumor, but I've heard that leather can actually get mouldy if soaked in oil too frequently or over extended periods of time. I guess as with everything: Don't over do it.

I just purchased a kit and will be looking to try it out soon.

With typical Leatherique usage, what is the consumption ratio of the rejuvenator vs. the cleanser? With the kit you get one bottle of each (1:1) but it seems you would use maybe twice or thrice as much of the rejuvenator oil??

My usage is about that, 2-3 times the oil to the cleaner, maybe even 4x. I actually spray the oil on, and spread it with my hands, which makes my hands nice and soft too. The oil is fairly thick, and the cleaner is not, so the to cover the leather, more oil is needed simply due to the viscosity difference.

I need to drive the car on Friday (alignment) so this will need to be a somewhat truncated version of the usual bake-in-the-sun protocol.

As such, I applied the oil twice yesterday. This morning, I carefully went over all of the surfaces with a clean, cotton towel. I am amazed at what I found:

I've used Lexol products for years and never ended up with a cloth as dirty as the one shown above. So far, so good!

I am waiting for my delivery of Leatherique, should be in by the weekend. As I have no instructions yet, does one just rub the oil in with your hands, anything special to do other than keep the car warm in the sun?

It's totally not a problem! You are suppose to cake it on.

But the more that is on the leather, the harder it is to clean them, your towels will load up with cleaning them.
