Has anyone removed the center reflector & blacked out the PORSCHE behind it?

I like the decal, but
PORSCHE
PORSCHE
seams a little over kill on the rear.

Default Thanks mikez from the Pelican forum!

http://nbd.4nets.com/wordpress/?p=1

This guy set me up with several different decals to pick from. I sent him $35 (he only asked for $25) and a few days later all sorts of goodies showed up at my shop. I picked the "Carrera" decal I liked and trimmed the "3" away from a "3.2" and presto! I have a quasi pseudo-factory "Carrera 2" emblem

He sent me some "PORSCHE" script as well for the base of the tail, but I'll leave it off for now. Whaddya think boyz? Did I get the placement correct on the decklid? I only spent like an hour looking at it and trying all the different spots, heh:

993 = Carrera
964 = Carrera 2

If you must do something, do what jackb911 did and put on a "Carrera 3.6" sticker. Classy and "correct".

I like it. But Carrera 3.6 would be better.

Agreed. Porsche also has a history of identifying some of it's 911 models by
displacement value (such as 2.4, 2.7 etc.)

Something looks odd about the font style used for the numeral 2. The number designates the displacement of the engine, so "3.6" would be more appropriate. It looks like you've got your car nicely sorted out.
