I just decided to get used to having to throw away all my white business shirts to wear with ties once a year because I sweat them out. Gross.

Thanks, Rinty. No codes thrown today, either.

You won't believe this, you all. John finally got to drive the car this morning from Van Horn (TX) to to Kerrville. Within NINE miles, hello Mr. Trooper! He got busted for going 92 in an 80 out in the sticks. Can you believe the bad luck? So that's our story for today. I have a great picture of all the bugs on the car -- it is BAD out here. Sounds like little bullets hitting the windshield.

More later, with pics.

Don't miss the Mooney factory in Kerrville!

The Mooney PFM's were actually Porsche powered.

Hey folks . . . Kerrville is beautiful! We are going to tour the area (Texas Hill Country they call it) today. This area is so nice that we are staying on an extra night. I highly recommend room 249 at the Best Western here if you ever come through. This room is HUGE and it has all the amenities that you'd want. There is a restaurant right next door, with a bar, too.

Anyway . . . gonna go wash Bluepurr and do the laundry, and then we're off to explore the area. I can see why the local traveler's magazine calls this the 'fifth most popular place to retire to.' I highly recommend this area for a vacation -- in fact, I am sure we will be doing just that in the fall.
