Yea, a GTG would be great! I just finished my 90k service on the C4, & did it with the help of Mike J, the car is so easy to work on! Really just being able to change fluids, & plugs on a lift wold rock!!

If you needed to borrow any tool let me know, I got a chest full. On air tools, there great for tires, & other really big bolts, but for the most part, you should use just plain hand tools.

My first new car was an 89 GTI 16V, also in white. Drove the stink out of it, unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough back then to properly take care of my cars, wish I still had it. But now that I think about it, the 16V was a luxury sedan compared to the MkI, kinda like how 911 guys compare the long hoods with the later models...
