No, but the background makes me feel the need for some chronic. Even though I don't go there.

Far out, man...

So, what is the real background?

That's a new one.

it would be interesting to see how the tip look on a 993 bumper, they look like they exit at a weird angle.

Very cool system! I have a similar system on my protomotive tt conversion setup, using a magnaflow muffler; see pic below. It sounds GREAT by the way.

I see two big probs with the Instant-G setup:
1) There's no adjustability for the heat exchanger flanges. With car-to-car variances and their mfg variances, expect some install problems. This must be a one-off.
2) Tips are aimed very oddly. I doubt that'll look right. Just look at my tips; Instant-G really cut corners here.

That's an exhaust for a 993 engine in an early car hotrod. Likely some sort of custom rear valance.

Yep--here you go:

The only purpose of the CAT is to pass inspection. As son as the car has passed, the CAT needs to come off. This applies to all Porsches.
The Instant-G exhaust is originally made for 3.6L conversions of older Porsches, but they make tips for the 993 too.

If I were doing an early hot rod, I'd go with cats and no mufflers. Would probably sound great, and smell better, too!

Probably safe to assume Fly911's comment was tongue-in-cheek. A pretty ridiculous statement if not...
