Looks like a NEW one is about $400+ shipping from Suncoast.

As of this moment, it looks like several have posted responses, but not voted. Comments are great, but please vote, too.

Prickly Porscher-- I just added four pix you'll love to above post #3, body-color grillz. Know anyone with photoshop skillz that can change 'em to gloss black?

That's exactly the appropriate contrast I'm visualizing, I've just never seen it done on a split-grill 993. My P-car's red & black, with polished aluminum / alloy accents; standard stuff, nothing outlandish. Black grills would fit the color scheme.

If so, the center channel would be body-color red (similar theme to Delanobe's grill). I have a good feeling about how it would look, & how it would tie in with some of the heritage of the above historically contrasting grills, even the newer Carrera GT. It's the rear-engine that makes these Porsches fairly unique, & the air-cooled 993s even more so.

There are some simillarities with Chuck W's decision to go back to contrasting black. However, I'm all about the C2S grill. I have a good feeling about how it would turn out, but have never seen it done in red & gloss black. Delanobe's is the first clear photo I've seen of a contrasting 993 split grill.

Regardless, you can't lose by sticking with body color, so thanks for all the good input ... & don't forget to vote!

Thanks Curvaceous One! On that silver Speedster.....lose the basket handle, the air scoops on the fenders, and lower it a bit more and that is IT! My vision in a different color. Off to but that Powerball ticket........
