Happy birthday. I remember your original post and it choked me up all over again. Best wishes for a happy future.

Congrats Chris...good looking future Porsche driver for sure!
Did you give him some of those greasy bushings to chew on and some walrod rings to play with?
I read through your thread and remember the days that we did IVF and the shots and the waiting and hoping...it is so hard to go through!
But the joy of the YES's took away the dissapointments of the NO's.
Congrats and enjoy!

No PCA events here either. It's been a long year so far with some family health issues and crummy business environment. But, the second half of 2010 is looking better. Hope we can connect on some Porsche related stuff in the near future. Are you still powder coating calipers?

Wow, stumbled upon this thread and feel like I should update it.... 9 years later.. Where has the time gone? The little one recently completed third grade. Finished 4th year of baseball, seems to enjoy that. His new love is karting! The three of us spend a lot of time at the track (Calspeed at California Speedway). Seems like almost every weekend we are either practicing or club racing. We've done 11 club races thus far. He's improving each time out, learning new things. Many of which cannot be instructed, only experienced. So we are on a steep learning curve racing in a very competitive environment. Here are some pics!

Nine years old! Wow! Just seems like just a couple of years ago we were all giving you two congrats! If you start a Father-Son project car now, it should be done about the time he gets his driver's license!
