Have you posted recent interior pix of your fine new AR TT? I had a similar 993; part of me's always regretted letting it go.
Been wondering how your CF shifter turned out. Get that cool TA SW? Thanks for turning me onto Champagne ... tempting.
I haven't found the right CF/aluminum e-brake. I have a lead on some bits I'm considering flying to check out soon. I've sent Germany's Marcus B many e-mails. I think his 'spam filter' is eating them. I need to try with a different e-mail address.
Numerous PMs / inquiries about buiilding a 993 Speedster. 2 things:
- You'll be on the short list of RL folks for preview pix if I do. Much good advice from good peeps.
- Find me an 993 Arena Red widebody (like yours so far, up to the next word) cabriolet, & I'll gladly make a Speedster out of it.
Heck, if you get me a 993 Gemballa Turbo cab, I guess I'll cave & 'put up with' making a narrowbody Speedster.
In the meantime, another excerpt from Tim's If you could order a new 993 today... thread:
I mentioned the rare Gemballa Turbo option with the stealth intercoolers, I think the following photo is the general model. Turbo cab with stock, movable tail ... sweet!
I'd love to get some discussion going on this Gemballa water/air intercooler.
I don't think I've seen much mention of this on Rennlist. Anyone have experience with one of these?
More info in this link to the entire 2000 Gemballa PDF catalog. Per page 6, "500 hp BiTurbo, no rear spoiler required."

Better yet would be a 993TT to speedster conversion....cut off the top, replace windscreen, strengthen chasis, get some 18" Fuchs look-a-likes....

Viggo-- PM back at ya!
David-- +1 on everything, down to the Fuchs!
Chris-- Perfect combo: Turbo Speedster. I posted the previous stealth-tale details & pix as a hint of what you could do, if you wanted to keep the rear Speedster lines on a Turbo. Another custom turbo-charged approach:

Unfortunately I don't think I do....a pic is posted in Princeton's thread where he posted the progress of his project and the final car. It was very cool badge...on first glance it looked like a normal factory Porsche badge but if you looked closer, it actually said "Poorboy"
