I was going to work early this morning and went to my condo's parking garage and noticed my car was gone. My neighbors or myself did not hear any alarms or broken glass sounds either so I don't know wtf happened. It's a good thing I have full coverage on the car.

I've called the police and insurance to start the whole process. If anyone notices a Polar Cab w/Grey top CA license 5RONO15 on the streets or being parted out, please alert the authorities or myself. Btw, I watched the movie "TAKEN" and feel inspired to take this matter into my own hands....lol.

That really sucks. If it's not found IMMEDIATELY (and undamaged!) I hope it's long gone and you can work on replacing it.

 

Uggghhh.... What part of LA. And you had a top notch stereo system and subs in there too!

 

Ooooh, so sorry to hear man! I work in the SF Valley and often get into Hollywood ...not all that many 993s out as you know so I always notice when I see one. Will keep an eye out. But at least you're covered. Best to you!

This is horrible! I have had a car stolen (a '91 Mustang back in '94)...plus two friends with 993's have had their cars stolen from similar parking lots like yours here in LA...I just moved into a new condo..ugh..I hope you find your car..it's heartbreaking.

Ugh, not good to hear that news. My last car was a very modified RSX and I was always worried about it getting stolen. Didn't think Porsche's were normally stolen. What city was it taken from, and time to check craigslist for parts?

 

Car was stolen in North Hollywood (Valley Village). I had a $3k sound system (750 watt amps along with 2 8in sub enclosures). The system sounded better with the top down. I believe in Karma so whoever took my pcar will probably get it in the a** sooner or later....

 

Having a car stolen sucks. On the plus side, you do have insurance and there are many nice deals available in the current economic climate. Best of luck.

 

I agree with the Karma statement. The situation really sucks, but the low life thief will get what is coming to them in the end.

 

So much for the imobilizer doing it's job. What exactly do those things do anyway (other than annoy us?)
