CA Smog Test
Just passed CA smog with no problems!!! I have a 95 (OBDI) and it's a C4 so no "roller loading" for me. The car is nearly 15 years old, original, and it turned better numbers than my Lexus.

Hey Chris, good to hear from you....and yes there is always some anxiety associated with CA emissions testing.
My major service is coming up, so I'll be reaching out to you and Robin shortly.

I just passed, too: 52K with 29K on a new top end. Most of my numbers looked good.
15 MPH test: HC were 26 out of a 54 max (almost 3x "average" of 9, but halfway to 54, which ain't bad, I guess)
25 MPH test: all my numbers looked better. HC down to "average," ZERO measured CO and NO that was 75% below average (12 vs. 50). I don't spend much time idling in stop and go, so I'm happy with the higher speed numbers. Who knew, a clean burning "exotic"?
Would the numbers be even better at higher speeds? That would make me feel good!

Yes!...another excuse for "the boob job link!"
The legend is that the original owner was a physician in a small town who never drove it far and only then, gently, and with respect for the fine machinery, like his daddy taught him to, which as we all know, is the rong way.

Anyone else wanna share some smog numbers? Boy, that sounds geeky!
P.S. - Damon (and Chris et al) - come have a beer with us Wednesday @ Red Car.

I don't think there's much of a problem with any model ever passing the sniffer test; it's all about readiness codes/CEL on the OBD2 cars. A '95 AWD car is the easiest of the easiest!
