Dirty scum bag! He is the type of seller that gives eBay and Craigs list a black eye.
I had a problem with a eBay purchase last year where I used PayPal which charged my Platinum American Express card .
PayPal wasn't very cooperative, so I contacted AmEx and they forced PayPal to credit my account aomost immediatly.
PayPal is definetly not as secure an option as some might think.
Call your Credit card company at the same time you contact PayPal.

WOW That is just wrong. I have been a Ebay Powerseller for Auto parts for 3 years and I cant even begin to imagine why people would do something like this to someone else.

I started to send him an Email with all kinds of threats but counted to 10. Let us know if he is communicating with you about a resolution. If he attempts to stiff you your Rennlist friends over here in the "States" will put so much pressure on him he will break.

 

Funny, that mylife site says "leave a comment for Keith" and no one has left poor Keith a comment yet. If he doesn't come clean with geo maybe we can tell him what we think.

Geolab: I'm sorry this happened to you! Having just had a similar experience buying a car that was not what was described, I understand full well how you feel. I hope you have better luck with getting ebay to help you than I did! Keep us posted on your progress.

I feel terrible about this. I hope you can resolve it.

I say give him 48 hours to send a refund via PayPal or Western Union or we go beat his ***.

An attorney should check in here, but it would appear that an interstate fraud took place. Those are not hard back seats. The dirty condition is less an issue, as he-said/you-said etc. And they can be cleaned up. They cannot be "hard-backed" by cleaning and dyeing, however, and his ad clearly said hard-back.
