Default Rivi Blue Cab Update - Brakes, Suspension, Wheels and Engine - PICS

Well the car is at the shop and my mechanic has been busy. Here is the progres so far:

1. Calipers powder coated yellow (new rotors, pads, sensors)
2. ROW MO30 Suspension upgrade (springs, shocks, sways)
3. Wheels (Sport Classic II 18" with new tires)
4. Motor work being started (to numerous to itemize)

The calipers still need to have the "PORSCHE" decals transfered. They decals are done in black. Here are the pics.

I was on the fence in regards to the wheels. I put one of the fronts on and it hides the calipers a bit. I was pretty shocked on the boldness of the contrasting colors (yellow/blue) but when the wheels were mounted it worked pretty well.

Slowly but surely. I have gone deep on cars in the past, but this one is way deep. I look forward to driving it instead of working on it. I am 25% done with the car. Once my mechanic gets done I will be stripping it for a total repaint and a new interior install (windshield, sport seats, carpet, rear set delete, shifter, e-brake, stereo and speakers etc...)

I am shooting for the beginning - middle of April. I already have everyone lined out for work and all the parts are in. So unless any unforseen delays happen I should be on schedule.

No problem. Glad they were of use to you as little time as you had them. I was happy to see them go to a Rlister. I just wanted to get rid of the bad memory and start with all new stuff. I am loving the calipers I think they work well with the blue. Red would have been too far off IMHO. Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully I won't be selling you these sport seats.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me I didn't have them for long! However, I had my DACH cats for less time... so much less time that I didn't even have a chance to install them...DAMN!

I, too, hope you won't be selling your sports seats soon. However, if that changes, please let me be the first to know : - )

The calipers are very easy to do. All I do is have them removed from the car, remove and plug the bleeder valves, blow out remaining fluid with and air gun and use the special aluminum tape to cover up the seals and pistons. Send to the powder coater where he media blasts the old paint off and bakes on the new color. After I get them back I have them installed and put the new PORSCHE decals on.
